Just Birds

I'm posting a few bird photos on this post, and then a regular post next. These were taken yesterday and today at Rondeau Provincial Park. It was a cold, wet day today so it was a bit disappointing. Double click on any photo to see it full screen.

Love the Wood Thrush! He doesn't often sit still long enough for a photo!

The photo above is the female and the bottom one is the male Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

Yellow warblers were everywhere today!

The Nashville Warbler was a long way away.

Blue-headed Vireo

Love the Chestnut-sided Warbler...so pretty.

The Scarlet Tanager is Joe's favourite migratory bird.
He is only hear in May, just like most of the rest of them, so we were happy to see him.

The Palm Warbler

The Northern Parula - another favourite

Another Chestnut-sided

The Cerulean - this is a provincial rarity to see.
We saw and had a photograph of the female earlier too.

Don't forget to scroll up and down so you don't miss any postings. You never know what I'll post.

Cheers
Violet
